Project: Reputation management and corporate communications during three year U.S. anti-trust trial

Role: Drove agency team supporting strategic communications, corporate brand stewardship, story development, media relations, issues management and crisis response for Microsoft Corporate PR efforts.  Created “Human Face Campaign” to proactively shift media dialog from anti-trust issues to focusing on the people behind the products.  Supported executive communications and positioning for key initiatives in software and personal computing industries.

Outcome: Microsoft rebuilt Windows brand loyalty and maintained substantial market growth during anti-trust trial, during which the Gates Foundation was spawned.
