Project: Help Tibetan refugees preserve their culture through digital storytelling
Role: Taught Tibetan refugee children and youth living in India the basic tenets of digital storytelling: photography, videography, interviewing, storytelling, audio narration and foundational technology skills. Provided hands-on mentoring, coaching and support. Wrote/published a real-time blog from India, enhancing positioning and distribution.
Outcome: Production of three digital stories in two weeks; connected youth to peers in South Africa, South America and the United States. The blog received over 10,000 hits from around the globe.
